We'll Be OK 02:55
What if I told you, that I was scared to. What if I ran away, what words would you choose to say. What if I wasn’t nice, would it make you think twice. What if the world, ended today. Think we’ll be a-ok, think we’ll be a-ok. Think we’re safe from that day. Think we’ll be a-ok, think we’ll be a-ok. Think it’s safe to say. That I think we’ll be, Ok. Life is a minefield, one misstep you’ll seal the deal. Don’t know what the odds are, but that future seems far. Think we’ll be a-ok, think we’ll be a-ok. Think we’re safe from that day. Think we’ll be a-ok, think we’ll be a-ok. Think it’s safe to say. That I think we’ll be, Ok. And eventually, I’m gonna cut free, this misery. I’m gonna learn, to be ok, With myself, and everyone else. Think we’ll be a-ok, think we’ll be a-ok. Think we’re safe from that day. Think we’ll be a-ok, think we’ll be a-ok. Think it’s safe to say. That I think we’ll be, Ok.

Only Friends 03:39
Stuck in a bubble, where people are puzzles, You and I relate. We shared our thoughts and we didn’t care. Too much or too little, stuck in the middle, Of this moment now. The burden to give is no one’s to bare. And I’d say we’re, Only friends. Only if I knew how, This would end. I like it here, without all the fear, Let’s keep this going strong. Why didn’t we do this all along. I’m vibin’ on your vibe, you look into my eyes, Could you fit inside. The puzzle that I laid out in my mind. And I’d say we’re, Only friends. Only if I knew how, This would end. I wish you knew how I felt when I felt you feeling on me. I wish I knew how I felt when I think about you and me. And I’d say we’re, Only friends. Only if I knew how, This would end

I'm a Mess 03:44
Oh I want, to stray from the path, that I decided to walk. I’ll reconsider all the rules, and all the talk I’ve talked. I wish you knew the half of it, so there’d be less to tell. Despite all my best efforts to stay out of love I fell. Straight into the trap you laid, And the lies you know, all too well. You know how, to make me blush. You know what to do, so my sentences rush. You know exactly what to say, and do. So that I am a mess when I’m with you. If you were to look at me with love, then I’d know something wasn’t right. I just don’t have that kind of luck and I’d try to start a fight. To see if this was real or did I, simply convince myself. That this thing went both ways and one did not share all the wealth. Of love and power in this game, of chance. And pure, happenstance. You know how, to make me blush. You know what to do, so my sentences rush. You know exactly what to say, and do. So that I am a mess when I’m with you. Oh I want, to stray from the path, that I decided to walk.

We can take our time, I cannot see the end of the line. For all I know it’s worth, A thousand smiles, a thousand hurts. Our lives could get better, or they could get worse. You could be my dealer, or you could be my nurse. Please be my angel, and not my demon curse. You and I will see, What this will be. I know that it may seem like common sense, But I don’t know how I gathered, up the confidence. To ask you how you felt deep down inside, Where there’s no where left to run, and there’s no where left to hide. I never thought that I would see so far, Past the beauty of your face, to the beauty of your heart. Our lives could get better, or they could get worse. You could be my dealer, or you could be my nurse. Please be my angel, and not my demon curse. You and I will see, What this will be. I’d like to know, how this will turn out to be. But the last thing that I want, is to kill the mystery. Of how we’ll intertwine, and how it’ll change our lives. Who knows how it ends, guess we’ll wait to find.

about

This EP is titled as such for two reasons. One, the recording quality is better than the past demos I have from my old apartment's bathroom. So things sound a bit better this time around. Two, while quality certainly is up, I don't think this EP is perfect. If I had done everything how the perfectionist in me wanted, it would have taken forever and would have sterilized the music.

I think I got exactly what I envisioned with this project. I knew I wouldn't be making this immaculate recording, but I hoped that it would be a step up from before. It's not perfect, but it's a little less rough.
